Position Details:Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 
  • Operational Excellence (OE)/Health, Environment & Safety (HES)Performs OE/HES activities including but not limited to verifying work permits, ensuring safe work practices followed, emergency response, use of MOC processes, incident reporting / mitigation, LPS stewardship and site visits
  • ExecutionHandles tank truck loading, marine vessel loading, marine vessel receipt, pipeline receipt/transfer, tank truck receipt, additive receipt/use, inventory storage and warehouse operations as applicable:
    -Physical loading / un-loading function and the associated documentation
    -Product quality verification (initial and ongoing)
    -Inventory measurements and documentation
    Monitors work and performance of contractors, customers, drivers and third parties to ensure compliance with work scope, work procedures and good house-keeping of the terminalEnsures the performance of measurements/checks and maintenance of terminal records as assigned, e.g. waste and emissions, fire protection equipment, terminal inspection checklists, equipment calibrations, tank overfill protection etc.
  • Stakeholders EngagementLiaises with vessel masters, surveyors and internal & external stakeholders with regard to receipt, storage, loading and distribution of products; Monitors to ensure standards and processes are compiled with
  • Leadership AccountabilityProvides coaching and leadership to operators and shift personnel to ensure compliance with OE/HES and Transportation & Operations (T&O) Terminal and Fleet standards and processes and to assist them in developing competency fluency; Ensures fraud prevention processes are robust and strictly followed
  • Training & DevelopmentParticipates in all trainings; Develops fluency in competency by continuously application of learned skills and self-learning;
    Assists as a subject matter expert (SME) to deliver training to operators, etc. 
  • OthersPerforms any other duties as assigned by Terminal Manager, e.g. project management;
    Responds to emergency response as first responder team lead until relief by othersRequired Qualifications:
  • Diploma & above or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience in terminal and transportation operations preferably in petrochemical industry
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to engage and build working relationships within the team

Position Details:Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Manages defined categories within specified geography
    - Category Analysis (internal and external)
    - Sourcing and Negotiations
    - Implementation of Agreements and Integration of Key suppliers
    - Performance Monitoring
    - Ongoing Supplier and Contract Management
    - Develops country Annual Contracting Plan (ACP) to support regional plan
  • Provides functional guidance and coordination for of all aspects of Regional / Local Procurement / Category Management including operational and capital expenditures within specified geography
    - Works with Chevron Procurement, Region, Area, Country and Plant Management and Procurement Supervisor to ensure principles, strategies, processes, standards and Chevron Way behaviors are applied to deliver Procurement results for the region
    - Assists in the facilitation of Global, Regional and Country Procurement alignment
  • Support Category Managers and Supervisor in prioritizing, evaluating and executing Global, Regional and Local Procurement Opportunities
    - Works collaboratively as a business partner to assess opportunities and manage supplier relationships. Oversees the process to do so and presents a business case and implementation plan for changes
    - Works with Region, Area, Country and Plant management to review plans, provide knowledgeable people to address issues, provide guidance review, and to implement--unless there is a business case presented to do otherwise
    - Works closely with the Category Managers to ensure the procurement strategy is aligned with Business Plan objectives
    - Regularly communicates plans and progress to ensure alignment and influence the broad adoption of cost reduction strategies
  • Coordinates with other Local leaders, including Local Business stakeholders to ensure the quality of service delivery in Category Management for the region
    - Collocated with customer as needed to ensure tie to business, engagement, responsiveness and technical and commercial knowledge
    - Monitor agreement compliance
    - Direct Enterprise and Regional sourcing
    - Track and report savings results and supplier performance information
    - Supplier Management
  • Participates in the development and implementation of long-term and short-term Regional and Local Procurement strategies for International Procurement
  • Works with Category Managers to develop a plan for migration of transactional work to the Procurement/Supply Chain Shared Services (PSCSS) / Manila Center of Excellence, as applicable
  • Participates in the negotiation and monitoring of the Procurement Service Level Agreement as support to the Category ManagersRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 3 - 5 years experience in Procurement / Purchasing with contracting role and competency, Oil & Gas Business is preferred
  • Fluent in English communication, strong sourcing, communication, analytical skills, teamwork collaboration, project management, results oriented, and contracting competency
