Project Manager - Electrical
Job Description

  • Liaise with clients regarding accepting criteria/workscopes and mobilisation requirements including equipment
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance HSE codes and in country government regulations
  • Ensure projects meet and integrate with organizational requirements for QA, HSE, HR, legal, environmental and general duty of care and continuous improvement
  • Determine labour requirements for projects and liaise with Operations regarding despatch of site staff
  • Liaise with Operations Coordinators to ensure manpower, equipment and travel is covered cost effectively and to company policy and standards

  • Ensure manpower, supplies and drawings are all available for project commencement

  • Maintain a full record of all requisitions received from vessels.
  • Coordinate with various suppliers and compare costs after receipt of quotations.
  • Compile and record committed cost figures.
  • File all technical papers received from vessels in their respective files.
  • Track vessels’ positions and arrange timely and regular dispatch of stores and spares to vessels.
  • Record performance of company’s standard suppliers.



REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Commerce/ Sciences/ Engineering.
  • ‘O’ Level holders with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a ship management company or related industries may apply.
  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice.
