Project Sales Engineer


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Reporting to the sales manager, the candidate would need to possess a solid track record in business planning and project sales/management. The role will encompass aspects of cultivating new business opportunities, implementing sales strategies, communicating technical details and preparing technical RFQs to major oil companies.
  • Target customers and cultivate business relationships to secure sales. Must develop a good understanding of the customer’s operations and goals.
  • Must hit assigned sales target for new customers each quarter
  • Develop and adhere to optimum profit margins and pricing points
  • Monitor assigned account-including progress, customer requests, competitor activity, and execution updates.
  • Collate forecasts and reports for each key product/service offering assigned
  • Sustain strong networks with customers with thoughtful and regular contact
  • Plan and negotiate long term contracts with key account customers
  • Present and close sales opportunities to executives at major oil companies.
  • Continually push company product/services to existing customers
  • Coordinate technical support in ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage technicians for on-site field projects
  • Keep abreast of competitor, industry and market developments and initiate plans which will boost sales



Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry with knowledge of general manufacturing and machining procedures
  • Knowledge of executing project management/ project sales highly regarded
  • Experience with sales analytics helpful
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering Preferred, but not necessary
  • Able to withstand pressure in meeting sales targets
  • Engaging presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Driven personality
  • Must be conscientious in documentation and planning of operations
  • Knowledge of CAD systems is a plus
  • Must possess a car and valid driving license


Country Manager


JOB DESCRIPTION



  • In charge of leading all administrative duties for the organization which
  • Include formulating office administration policies and co-ordination.
  • This includes managing three functions in sales, human resource administration as well as operations.
  • Conduct sales meetings which oversees group sales planning and sales targets.
  • Conduct operation meetings which includes all matters related to daily operations, hiring of new skilled staff, training and productivity run smoothly.
  • Maintaining discipline within the organization.
  • Required to mentor and lead new hires.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of production, production costs and quality control data and records.
  • Ensure all tools in workshop are in working order.
  • Direct and oversee site production activities and personnel.
  • Oversee and ensure good housekeeping at all times.
  • Recruiting and contracting staff: Engineers, Drafters, Coordinators,Technicians, workshop personnel.
  • Implement plans for long term development of company.
  • Employee development and training.
  • Policy development and documentation.
  • Performance management of all staff in department.
  • Implementing improvement systems.



Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Business Administration from a recognized University is preferred but not necessary.
  • People with past entrepreneurial experience is a bonus.
  • Type A driven personality.
  • Has to show past track record of managing teams.
  • Has to have a innate and strong understanding of human relations.
  • Able to manage emotions of team members.
  • Effective problem solver for various issues from sales to operations.
  • Ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
  • Able to multi-task and work quickly within stipulated time periods.
