    Successful candidates will work with the Schools in IMU to provide support in curricular efforts, teaching and learning, assessment as well as faculty professional development.

    Chinese Medicine
    Applicants must hold an undergraduate and post-graduate qualification in Traditional Chinese Medicine or in Basic Medical Sciences (Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Anatomy and relevant areas).


    Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree and preferably a Master's or PhD in Chiropractic. Applicants for clinical positions must hold a Bachelor degree and possess minimum 5 years of clinical experience as well as be in good standing with their respective licensing agencies. Those with diplomate status and/or possess an advanced degree would have an added advantage.

    Pharmacy Practice
    Applicant must hold a Masters qualification but preferably a PhD in an area relevant to Pharmacy Practice.     Life Sciences

    Pharmaceutical Technology

    Applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a PhD in an area relevant to Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology and Advanced Drug Delivery. The applicant might (but not necessarily) possess local or international industry-based experience. The applicant is expected to offer teaching experience in large and small group formats, familiarity with e-learning and laboratory supervision. The applicant should in particular be able to demonstrate expertise and enthusiasm for research through a track record of sustained publication in high quality journals and preferably evidence of attracting research funding. Potential candidates are encouraged to examine the Strategic Plans of IMU’s Research Centres for information on the University’s current focus areas in medical research.

    Pharmaceutical Chemistry

    Applicants must have a Ph.D. with appropriate post graduate training in any discipline of Chemistry. Applicants with a professional degree in pharmacy, demonstrated excellence in teaching and research in the field of drug discovery are preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for teaching of their discipline to undergraduate medical students in accordance with the curriculum.

  • Dental Technologist (Based in BJ)

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Receive and execute written orders from the dentists or dental students.
    • Fabricate, make additions and repair devices for the treatment, replacement and protection of damaged, badly positioned or missing teeth including full and partial dentures, provisional prostheses, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, orthodontic bands, implant supported prostheses, maxillofacial appliances and any other form of prostheses as prescribed by dentists.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • To develop the guiding principle and strategic plan for the department of student services that are in alignment with the outcomes identified in the schools’ strategic plans
    • To ensure the seamless delivery of support services for students through cooperative, collaborative, and timely efforts with staff form other departments, students and their parents and external organisations/agencies.
    • To recommend development of and revisions to policies, regulation and procedures in compliance with government regulations related to student affair.
    • To directly or indirectly manage all staff assigned to student services department; participate in selection,  training and appraisal of personnel
    • To develop recommendation related to financial resources needed for students services department and oversee the utilisation of the approved budgets for the department
    • To develop and implement approved services to meet the needs of students,  parents and schools
    • To direct and monitor general student services including student private accommodation, student mobility programme, extracurricular activities, community outreach programmes, alumni engagement, etc.

A Simulated Patient (SP) is an individual who is trained to simulate real patients based on scenarios prepared by the teaching faculty. Using Simulated Patients allow specific scenarios to be presented realistically. Simulated Patients are trained to provide feedback to students from a patient's perspective to enhance their learning.
Simulated patient is part-time basis. Small remuneration will be provided.
