We have vacancies for the following positions.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
  • To be assigned as Lead Mechanical Engineer/Rotating or Package Responsible Engineer for the project. Rotating equipment includes Turbo-machineries, Process/Utilities pumps, Fire water pumps, compressors etc
  • Review the project scope for mechanical section
  • Assign works to the engineers according to their expertise
  • Ensure the necessary resources and tools to carry out engineering activities are available
  • Ensure that engineering personnel have access to the relevant national and international codes, standards, and specifications and they are maintained to be current and up to date
  • Ensure engineers are aware of the common requirements in preparation of equipment specification/data sheets etc CE marking, ATEX marking, EquHub etc
  • Ensure that all engineering designs/documents prepared by his engineers meet the project requirements, agreed HSE requirements and good engineering practices
  • Supervise and monitor to ensure the engineers complete their works as per project schedule
  • Preparation of Bud proposal for mechanical scope ie. getting competitive quotations and perform brief TBE for bid purposes
  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and should preferably have a minimum 10 years of experience in offshore or onshore oil and gas projects on mechanical package equipment, rotating and static equipment. Experience as Lead mechanical engineer will be as added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of International Codes and Standards for Mechanical equipment. Knowledge on structural, electrical, instrumentation etc will be an added advantage
  • Experience in reviewing P&OD/piping drawings etc, preparing equipment specifications and data sheets, request for quotation (RFQ), perform technical bid evaluation (TBE), review of vendor documentation (VDR) and attend equipment factory acceptance test (FAT)
  • Capable to maintain effective relationship with client, engineering activities meet project requirements and schedules
PDMS Designers (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural or Architectural)
  • The successful candidate is responsible for developing detailed drawings and related specifications for large modules/topsides offshore oil & gas facilities. He/she will use design tools software such as PDMS and AutoCAD to accomplish assigned tasks with design quality within allotted schedule and budgeted hours
  • Diploma in related field (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural or Architectural
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the preparation of design and drafting activities for FPSO, EPC and LQ projects
  • Demonstrated ability with PDMS Design and Draft, AutoCAD and/or Micro station
  • Knowledge of 3D to 2D drafting will be highly advantageous
  • knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation & Smart Plant Electrical
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to take ownership over tasks
PDMS Administrator
  • Manage all activities of the PDMS server, licenses and the project databases
  • Customize, enhance and setup all PDMS software components according to the needs of the project
  • Loading and maintaining the engineering specification database and libraries on the PDMS project
  • Provide support and configuration to all discipline such as Architectural, Civil, Piping, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical with the current versions of PDMS, PDS and Autocad
  • Ability to handle interface/clash check for marine piping and structural ISO generation
  • Maintain, update, run periodic reports, Interference scheduling, backup, archival and retrieval of models
  • Training of PDMS users
  • Support to PDMS users
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Structural/Civil or equivalent
  • Proficient in the current versions of PDMS, PDS and Autocad
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience

Accountant (To Be Stationed In Batam)
Job Purpose:
  • Prepare and review the monthly management accounts, supporting schedules and quarterly forecast of PT SMOE. Explain major variances
  • To assist FM to supervise, check and review the work done by a team of accounts personnel in the daily operation of AR, AP, GL and fixed assets
  • To ensure compliance with SCM Group's accounting policies and application of relevant Financial Reporting Standards
  • Prepare and review the monthly management accounts and supporting schedules of PT SMOE and ensure proper classification of accounts and compliance with group's accounting policies
  • Prepare and review the company monthly financial performance of PT SMOE against forecast and budgets
  • Prepare and review quarterly forecast and annual budgeted financial reports for PT SMOE
  • Check monthly journals, tax returns and bi-monthly audit schedules
  • Liaise with external auditors during year end audit and checking of the year end reporting pack to SMOE and audited financial statements for local statutory purposes
  • Review and improve work processes through IT automation
  • Periodic review and update of Finance SOP to reflect changes in the accounting and reporting environment, identify and rectify control lapses and to ensure optimal efficiency of the policies and procedures adopted
  • Prepare monthly reports on bank exposure, cashflow forecast, compliance and treasury transactions to SMOE
  • Prepare the monthly foreign exchange exposure and determine the appropriate hedging requirements for projects secured by PT SMOE
  • Degree in Accountancy or Professional qualification awarded by ACCA. Preferably a CPA
  • Minimum 3 years of financial accounting experience
  • Experience in SAP and COGNOS will be an advantage
  • Competent in MS Excel
  • Willing to work in Batam office
Senior Engineer (Process)
  • Lead overall supervision of the administrative and technical affairs of assigned project or projects
  • Scheduling of work and allocation of project staff to proposal efforts and awarded projects
  • Assessment of project staffing needs with section head
  • Provide direct management to project teams to ensure that the process project engineering is integrated with all other Engineering Sections and that the section deliverables are integrated to meet Procurement and Construction requirements and schedules
  • Understand company policy, project execution procedures and ensure that these policies and project procedures are implemented thoroughly on each and every project
  • Be responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting of project budgets
  • Be responsible for assisting the Lead Process Engineer or Section Head in client liaison. This includes contract management, cost and schedule management and change order management
  • Be responsible for overall project execution, to ensure that our scope of services are clearly identified and understood by your project staff and client project team members
  • Establishing and maintaining standards and techniques for design and detailing work and specifications
  • Preparation of studies and reports as directed by section head
  • Review and approve technical bid evaluations for purchase
  • Assists business development on specific proposals and presentations when so requested
  • Engineering Degree in related field
  • Minimum 10 years of hands on experiences in all aspects of process engineering, such as heat and material balances, develop process flow diagrams and P&ID's, perform sizing calculations for all types of process equipment, process lines, reflef and safety valves
  • Possess supervisory skills to manage a group of 6 to 10 process engineers
  • Background or experience with computerized software programs related to heat exchanger sizing, line and relief valve sizing, pump head calculations and simulation programs such as ASPEN would be a plus
  • Be capable of reviewing and managing subcontracted engineering project team execution plans, budgets and schedules. Directly monitor, evaluate and correct subcontract engineering to ensure that SMOE project technical scope requirements are being met, in addition to project budgets and schedules
