Job Vacancies

Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAE)
  • Possess LWTR with 3 years working experience or 10 years working experience (for LEO position) in aviation industry.
  • Must hold DCA Malaysia Aircraft Maintenance engineer License (AMEL), with full fledged LAME and full coverage on A&C or EIR or partial trade.
  • Company approval with Airbus A319/A320/A321 (CFM56 and/or v2500), and/or ATR 72/42 fleet.

    Executive, Commercial & Marketing (1 vacancy)
    • To provide quotation requested by the customer.
    • To control and to validate all Invoicing folder provided by Customer Support.
    • To satisfy our customers while contributing to SAE profitability in a competitive environment and increasing levels of aircraft deliveries and service activities.
    • To respect the target of KPI Billing in accordance with KPI’s.
    • To promote and market the airframe business of SAE towards airlines, brokers and OEM’s.

    Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance (1 vacancy)

    To support the QA Department in managing SAE quality management program to comply with DCAM and other National Aviation Authorities Part 145 AMO approval, Safety Management Systems and EN 9110 requirements.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (DCAM Part 66 B1/B2) preferably in both Line and Base maintenance environment.
    • A type rating of two or more of the aircraft type below would be an advantage:
    • o B737-3/4/500  o A318/319/320/321  o A330  o ATR 42-400/500/72-212A
    • Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements including DCAM/EASA Part 145/66/M would be an advantage.
    • A detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and Safety Management Systems would be an advantage.

    Production Manager (1 vacancy)

    The job holder will oversee and manage various production activities on a regular basis to carry out maintenance, and repairs and ensure the releasing of aircraft back to service. You also need to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the maintenance activities and delivering the aircraft back to customers:
    • Allocate tasks to staff according to the competence required and set daily workload targets.
    • Manage the maintenance on site, including multi skill core team workers and sub-contractors.
    • Ensure the day to day management of the maintenance activities and coordinate with the customer, reviewing the maintenance progress.
    • Ensure completion of work within agreed down time and agreed budget.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • A minimum of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with a minimum of 12 years working experience.
    • Holding DCAM/EASA Part 66 license is required.
    • Type training or equivalent experience on Airbus aircraft families.
    • Good command in English communication both written and spoken.

    Foreman (3 vacancies)

    The job holder will ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the scheduled maintenance, ad-hoc and sign the Certificate of Release to service, delivering the aircraft back to the customer :
    • Participate in the Maintenance Preparation with the preparation engineers.
    • Manage the maintenance on site, including multi skill core team workers and sub-contractors.
    • Ensure the day to day management of the maintenance activities and coordinate with the customer, reviewing the maintenance progress.
    • Must be available, reachable and having the sense of ownership.
    • Reasonable computer skills are required for all interfaces and documentation processing.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • A minimum of a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with 7 years working experience.
    • Holding DCAM/EASA Part 66 license is required.
    • Type training or equivalent experience on Airbus aircraft families.
    • B1 and/or B2 and preferably in addition C rating
    • Good command in English communication both written and spoken.

    Flight Hour Services – Spares Logistics Solutions Executive (1 vacancy)

    • Operational reporting: Sepang Aircraft Engineering Operations & Customer Support, FHS Development Manager
    • Functional reporting: Airbus SCSB Olivier Balmigère, FHS Spares Logistics Solutions Manager

    The jobholder works in the integrated FHS business team based in Toulouse and has a dual reporting as stated above. The jobholder is accountable to ensure the FHS team has all the necessary transport and logistics infrastructure in-place to perform business operations efficiently and in accordance with Airbus after-market logistics development policy.
    In this frame and in line with the SCS-Service Solutions objectives, the job holder will be responsible to:
    • Monitor the execution of logistics and transportation projects and new solutions in Asian FHS logistics distribution centers and Customers’ locations.
    • Monitor the implementation of continuous improvement plans as defined by the FHS Logistics solutions Manager.
    • Check, control and approve the invoices from logistics providers (warehousing, transportation, forwarders).
    • Manage and settle all disputes that may arise between the logistics provider, the Customer and the part supplier or repairer on extra costs imputation (example: part damage).
    • This service will be monitored on working hours (9am – 6pm); exclude weekend, bank holidays and after working hours.
    In this aim, the jobholder will establish, monitor and share with the SCS team a dashboard able to trace all financial data (costs or revenues) deriving from these disputes or additional works required by the end Customer. When required, the jobholder will bring any local support to conduct punctual enquiries or assist in analyzing KPIs on providers’ performance contractual fulfillment.
    Main Job Responsibilities:
    For the Transportation / Customs / Warehousing on in-service FHS deals, support local operational teams to:
    • Follow-up of discrepancy raised by forwarding agent with associated transport and customs operations.
    • Monitor the contracted performance of operations on monthly basis (Initial Provisioning, repair loop, etc.).
    • Defend Airbus FHS interests when Airbus assets are damaged during transport.
    • To locally represent Airbus FHS logistics solutions in meetings with Customers, suppliers or logistics providers, saving in this way some travel costs.
    • To interact with local Authorities or Customs representatives for any project or operational issue.
    • To ensure the necessary support or training for operational logistic users during the service deployment (Working instructions will be provided by FHS).
    Major Difficulties to be solved:
    • To apply Airbus logistics policy by aligning local providers and sustain continuous improvement plans implementation.
    • To have a deep knowledge and experience of the industry Supply Chain and Logistics business in order to adopt efficient solutions and challenge others.
    • Adopt high rigor in monitoring costs impact from operational data, in a context of increasing movement volume.
    Major End Results:
    • To establish a logistics organisation permitting the achievement of FHS performance objectives, especially Service Level (95%).
    • To optimise logistic costs and reduce the logistic lead time by developing new logistic solutions.
    • To generate satisfied Customers with high confidence in FHS logistics performance.

    • Airbus FHS Team in Toulouse has signed repair & spare services contracts with Asian & European Customers.
    • Airbus FHS Toulouse delivers these services through 3 platforms located in London, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
    • Within these services, Airbus FHS Toulouse is looking after the repair and spares services for A/C parts which belong to its customers. These parts transit through our 3 platforms.
    • In Kuala Lumpur, SAE is acting on behalf of Airbus FHS Toulouse.
    • In Singapore, Airbus local team is acting on behalf of Airbus FHS Toulouse.

    Job Purpose:
    The Repair Tracking Executive shall manage the repair tracking for the unserviceable parts sent out to suppliers repair stations.
    Job Requirement:

    • Follow up and get status on each of outstanding repair orders by performing the weekly report for each of supplier under your portfolio.
    • Arranging and attending the weekly conference call with selected supplier, mainly the suppliers with higher workload and /or lower performance.
    • Ensure all the required data is gathered during the weekly review or follow up and update in our IT system accordingly.
    • To ensure that the supplier is able to return the units within the time, if not to return an exchange unit.
    • Providing the accurate information on the parts status to Airbus SAS (Toulouse) upon request.
    • Establish report to Airbus FHS team in Toulouse and also the suppliers

    Job Specification:

    • 3 years of experience in Customer &Repair Service / Supply Chain in Aerospace activity.
