1.SENIOR MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (APAC)
LOCATION:  Kuala Lumpur
REPORT TO: General Manager
An international oil and gas technology company catering to the oil & gas, petrochemicals and other oilfield related sectors is looking for a senior business development talent to lead and drive its business in Asia Pacific.
In this role, you will be responsible for overall business development and client management of the Company’s local and regional business and operations. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 
• Develop and grow the customer base with O&G end users and EPCs and related players in Malaysia and the Asia Pac region. 
• Aligning the company’s sales strategy with external and internal stakeholders
• Broaden and strengthen the customer base to introduce conventional, new proprietary, and service-related solutions/applications for potential sales
• Contribute to a business plan to drive existing market and discover new potentials
• Manage sales and financial business to achieve yearly growth target
• Managing and  interpreting customer technical and commercial requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their need 
• Participate in Executive Committee and Board level discussions, as required.
To succeed in this role, you need to have extensive experience in the sales and marketing of proprietary technologies for oil & gas applications, have a strong network / understanding of the Asia Pacific oil & gas sectors.
OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 
• Technical qualification with minimum 10-15 years sales and business development experience in the oil and gas industry 
• Good market knowledge in oil and gas industry with considerable sales experience in both offshore and onshore applications, particularly in Malaysia. 
• Strong network with relevant IOC’s, NOC’s, and Service Companies in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region. 
• Handling experience of EPC companies will be an added advantage
• Strong commercial knowledge with a solid  technical  background
• Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and drive 
• Strong communication and networking skills 
• Willingness to travel and work within a dynamic, team environment 

2.Start-Up & Commissioning Engineer 

SUMMARY:
This client company is looking for a Start-Up & Commissioning Engineer to assist in the stat-up and commissioning of Oil & Gas packaged equipment.
DESCRIPTION: 
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Start-Up & Commissioning Engineer shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: 
 Participation in the review of P&ID’s and control strategies in view of start-up and safe operation of process plants. 
 Reviewing and commenting on operating manuals and start-up procedures. 
 Verification that equipment and systems are mechanically complete. 
 Commissioning and start-up of equipment leading to a safe and stable operation. 
 Prevention of hazardous conditions for personnel and equipment. 
 Assisting in the initiation of the performance test run (guarantee test run) based on contractual requirements. 
 Assisting with the training of the customer’s personnel in the operation of the plant. 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  
 Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Instrument Engineering
 5+ years commissioning experience with process and E&I equipment. 
 A broad understanding of each engineering discipline. 
 Effective leadership skills. 
 Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications. 
 Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. 
 Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.  

TRAVEL:
There will be a high percentage of travel required with this role, including the requirement to work offshore and overseas.
