Malaysia Graduate Programme 2014 (Subsurface/HR)-005020


As a graduate in Malaysia you will be working in our Integrated Energy Services (IES) division. This fast growing business continues to attract new opportunities globally and we are committed to investing in the skills and careers of our people.
Your development starts on day one with your graduate induction, where we introduce you to Petrofac’s structure and business direction, and deepen your understanding of our industry.
The two-year programme, based in Malaysia, provides:
  • support from an assigned mentor
  • exposure to a wide variety of disciplines, moving between roles to build skills and experience
  • a technical training programme to develop in your chosen discipline
To qualify for the IES subsurface graduate programme, you may have completed a degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Geophysics at Bachelor’s level.
We are looking for graduates in:
  • Petroleum engineering
  • Reservoir engineering
  • Geoscience engineering
  • Project engineering
We are also looking for one Human Resources graduate with a degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or Business Studies.

Application Process
Candidates meeting all the essential criteria will complete verbal, numerical and logical tests (available in English and Malay).
Those that pass these tests will go through a telephone interview, which will also be used to assess English language skills.
Successful candidates will be invited to an assessment centre, which will consist of:
  • face to face interview
  • two group exercises built around a case study rooted in the real world of Petrofac
  • a presentation in pairs
  • individual write-up of the case study
