Enterprise Architect (Infrastructure Systems)

Job Description
·         To lead and drive the overall architecture strategy for Systems namely: server, storage, virtualization, database systems, backup systems, including data center and disaster recovery technologies to support the efficient operations of the Company group of businesses domestically and internationally
·         To lead and provide direction and advice to the Company group of businesses with respect to the above stated areas including compliance to group strategy and standards
·         To lead and develop Group ICT Infrastructure 5 year masterplan and yearly budget
·     To lead and conduct planning workshops with the business in order to develop overall infrastructure masterplan for the Company group of businesses
·         To lead as a consultant to the business with regards to infrastructure matters above when required
·         To drive, communicate and gain various stakeholders buy in and awareness of the masterplans
·         To lead and drive the yearly improvement plans for Group ICT infrastructure programs
·     To lead and drive innovation of infrastructure services to continually provide improvements to the Company group of businesses
·    To lead and collaborate with the operations team to ensure continuous improvement above infrastructure services
·         To own, develop and present business case for Group ICT projects in accordance with the business needs and overall masterplan
·   To own, develop and present architecture papers to the Enterprise Architecture & Innovation Committee prior to execution
·      To lead and identify research in relevant industry best practices and trends that will benefit the Company
·         To lead and drive the architecture strategy for service continuity for the above infrastructure systems
·         To define, develop, maintain and improve architecture standards, processes and technology roadmap to support business needs and to ensure maximum value from current and future investments
·         To lead and ensure quality solution design by adopting and evangelizing the Company Enterprise Architecture framework across the group
·         To own and monitor the execution of Group ICT infrastructure architecture roadmap to ensure on-time, on-budget and successful value delivery
·         To lead and advice as a specialist architect resource and evangelist for virtualization, server & storage, data protection and disaster recovery
·         To lead and document architecture assets, services and tools; interact with vendors on an ongoing basis to ensure the Company is able to take advantage of new capabilities and services to improve and optimize overall performance, efficiency and resiliency
·        To lead and drive the communication to improve user awareness of services including success stories
·     To participate in and lead strategic problem resolution and root cause analysis
·         To govern and maintain current documentation of all equipment under operational control

Job Requirements:-

·         An exceptional individual to define and chart technology strategies and directions for the business
·         Managing and working with virtual teams both locally and internationally
·         Minimum 10 years working experience and 2 years, as a lead or manager the candidate will have a strong background within infrastructure engineering, with hands-on experience of a diverse range of technologies that include: Windows, Unix, Oracle database, storage, backup, networking and security
·    Extensive design & implementation experience in ICT for enterprise environments
·         A strong understanding of virtualization technology including HyperV, VMWare and RedHat. Also a diverse background and understanding of major system solutions such as Microsoft, Oracle, EMC, HDS, Cisco, Dell, IBM, HP, NetApp, Symantec, CA, F5, Riverbed, among others
·         Proven experience in consultative approach for recommending solutions
·         Proven experience in designing, implementing and supporting solutions
·         Proven experience of designing, planning, and leading implementation of complex changes in highly critical, highly available environments and disaster recovery systems
·         Proven ability to interface and build collaborative relationships with a mixture of business and technical stakeholders
·         Experience in implementation and installation of servers and storage systems, database and backup software
·         Proven experience with in undertaking large complex proposal of system analysis, systems design, system requirements, system sizing, capacity planning, general security, and general networking considerations
·         Excellent knowledge of processor architecture and concepts such as RISC and CISC, NUMA, SMP, storage architecture concepts such as SAN, NAS, Object Storage, RAID, de-duplication, ILM, COW, dependent and non-dependent copy and continuous data protection
·         Working technical knowledge of current hardware, protocols, and networking standards, including iSCSI, FC, FCOE, NFS, CIFS, COW, IP
·         Experience with system monitoring/management tools such as CA, EMC Smarts, BMC CLM, VCAC
·         Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks including TOGAF

Solution Developer (.Net/Sharepoint)

Job Description
  • Takes technical responsibility for several stages of the life cycle for delivering .Net & SharePoint project of medium to high complexity: investigation, analysis, specification, design, construction, testing, implementation and maintenance.
  • Undertakes all work in accordance with required technical and quality standards, selecting and using appropriate methods and tools in order to implement high quality, scalable and extendable .Net & SharePoint solutions.
  • Produce project deliverable documents based on defined templates and standards

    • Detailed Level Design
    • Test Scripts for UAT
    • User Manual
    • Handover Documents
    • FAQ
  • Reviews of technical documents, technical diagrams and software code e.g. peer reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections.
  • For outsourcing projects, overcoming the impact of distance, differing time zones and cultural differences, to properly define and communicate the tasks to outsourcing groups and verifying that each and every delivery meets PICT’s requirements
  • Ensuring that key deliverables agreed with the Project Manager are produced and delivered within the milestones defined on the project plan to the defined quality standards.
  • Arranges, prepares and takes part in client/user meetings and presents issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
  • Prepares, or contributes to, project and quality plans taking account of the requirements for functionality versus the constraints of time, cost and quality.
  • Undertakes all work e.g. documentation in accordance with required technical and quality standards, selecting and using appropriate methods and tools in order to achieve well-engineered products which exhibit the necessary attributes such as fitness for purpose, reliability, efficiency, security, safety, maintainability and cost effectiveness.
  • Gives technical leadership to medium/big teams (3-5 or more staff), planning, estimating, assigning tasks, providing guidance, monitoring quality and reporting on work performed accurately and effectively in order to achieve targets.
  • Estimates SharePoint solution implementation effort for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to Project Manager and Account Manager during pre-sales.
  • May fill one or more of the following roles as required : Team Leader ; Interface Designer ; Test Co-ordinator
  • May take responsibility for several stages of the life cycle for medium to complex project covering: investigation, analysis, specification, and testing.
  • Takes initiative to keep skills up to date and maintain awareness of .Net & SharePoint in the Information System industry.
  • Actively participate in Knowledge Sharing session and able to conduct in-house technical training session.

Job Requirements:-
  • Proficient in .Net and Sharepoint
  • At least 5 years working experience in IT system development.
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Related industry/ subject matter expertise a plus.
