MSTS is principally involved in the business of providing safety training and consultancy services. The company is licensed by PETRONAS to carry out safety, survival and specialised skill training, risk assessment, safety study/audit and consultancy services.

Since inception in 2000, MSTS has received many accreditation and approval such as OPITO (UK), PETRONAS/PSC Minimum Industry Standard (MIS), IMO STCW 95 (Malaysia), NEBOSH (UK) and within a short period of time MSTS has emerged as a market leader in safety training & services in East Asia.

MSTS is a joint venture company with the Denmark based Falck A/S, a multinational company specialising in healthcare, emergency, assistance and safety training to the public and private sectors.

Sales Executive (Location: Johor Bahru)-Closing date 31 July 2014

​This position reports to Sales/Sales Operation Manager. He/She is to be responsible for all activities related to sales for Johor and Singapore.

Responsibilities :
• Manage key accounts management for major account. 
• Source and identify new/potential account and reactivate inactive accounts. 
• Source actively for opportunities to penetrate new industries. 
• Build excellent customer relations with existing and new clients by providing efficient and effective response. 
 
Requirements: 
• Possess Degree in  Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent. 
• Possess minimum 3 years of hands-on sales experience preferably in the oil and gas industry. 
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Possess selling & CRM skills with high competency in product knowledge. 
• Fast learner and strong interpersonal skills. 
• Independent, good planning and organizational skill. 
• Result oriented with high integrity and commitment to responsibilities. 
• Fast and prompt response to external and internal clients. 
• Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Sales/Sales Operation Manager (Location: Melaka)-Closing date 31 July 2014

This position reports to Sales/Business Development Manager. He/she is to support the Sales & Marketing Division in driving sales productivity, administer and improve processes in sales operations including customer service.
 
Responsibilities:
• Drive standards of performance and specific actions that drive sales activities at the regional level that is consistent with predefined criteria for the sales organization; track and report on these activities on a periodic basis
• Pipeline Quality - support stable pipeline management process and healthy pipeline figures
• Provide first level of support, manage, supervise, coach and lead a team of 6-10 personnel in the department
• Overseeing Customer Service team to define business requirements and support the sales organization in an effective and efficient manner
• Manage large strategic sales projects as well as perform detailed analyses and able to identify process improvements 
• Improvement in process documentation and communication with the field
• Ability to plan and coordinate resources for sales events, meetings, and functions
 
Requirements:
• Possess degree in Business administration, Marketing or similar discipline  
• Already in managerial level with solid experience in supervising and leading sales/customer service personnel
• At least 5 year experience in business to business / corporate sales,  Sales Operations or Business Operations, professional services experience preferred
• Strong analytical capabilities and process thinking 
• Proven ability to work in a team environment 
• Decision making - Demonstrates accountability and commitment by in decision making process 
• Highly motivated, positive attitude and result driven 
• Strong oral and written communication in English and presentation skills

Skill trainer (Location: Miri,Sarawak)-Closing date 31 July 2014

Responsibilities:
To  develop and deliver a wide range of safety training for the Oil & Gas sector. This training will include the delivery of subjects such as rigging and slingging, banksman, scaffolding, working at height  as well as a wide range of general safety programs.
 
The training will be mainly conducted at our Miri  centre and also onsite at our other regional centres in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
 
Besides direct teaching and training duties, responsibilities include: 
•Maintain all course master files, course profiles and list of courses.
•Design and develop new course programs as advised by the Manager.
• Review and update course handouts and training materials.
• Maintain staff development records and carry out internal staff training.
• Maintain a record of preventive maintenance and necessary certification required on equipment.
• Deliver, assess and evaluate training programs as per weekly schedule.
• Helpful and cooperative towards participants and visitors at all times.
• Share knowledge which, further enhances the ability of fellow employees.
• Handle all other duties as may be assigned by the Manager from time to time.
 
Requirements:
• Possess a minimum Diploma in Health & Safety with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience 
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft office 
• Mature, resourceful and highly motivated 
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills 
• Possess  a workplace assessment and instructional techniques qualifications is an advantage
