The role
KASI Maritime Consulting and Technologies are looking to the future to strengthen a specialised 3D computer modeling team with an experienced 3-D modeler who can manage a team around him/her as well as work on their own initiative. With exciting expansion plans over the next few years this might be the opportunity you have been waiting for to take the lead. To start with, you will continue 3D modeling using Lightwave & 3D Studio Max and other familiar software packages, whilst providing guidance to fresh graduates to become simulation modelers. As the team grows you will be taking on a managerial role and take an active role to build the team and business. This will be your opportunity to move into a management level position.

The person
You must have a history of 3D modeling in a portfolio of work. You must be familiar with Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, AUTOCAD & knowledge in UV mapping. You must show ambition to progress and enough drive to develop with a new and exciting department. You will have a degree in or related subject and then move into Hydraulic/Simulation Modeling.

The role
The primary role of the Senior Project Researcher will be to search for and collect all relevant data required to execute and complete our maritime consulting studies. The project researcher will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of the project data within the organization is maintained through pro-active and reactive auditing and supervising the project research team.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
Responsible as research team leader in organizing and carrying out data collection, collation and presentation from various project sites in the region. Assist in the drafting and write up of KASI's maritime consultancy studies. The senior project researcher would also have to present their findings in PowerPoint both internally and to clients in a defensible manner.
The Senior Project Researcher will provide top quality service to existing clients by investigating and collecting all relevant data. He/She will input data accurately into our database from a variety of sources. Investigate by use of interviews, surveys, telephone, email, fax or internet, and any existing data or previous studies conducted.
To assist in maintenance and updating of our consulting information database.

The person
For this position the successful candidate must have an excellent standard of English both written and spoken, alongside a confident telephone manner and good communication skills. This role will involve the company's internal database so a good level of computer literacy in addition to having an aptitude with MS PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel Spreadsheets. Due to the nature of the organization and the international operation of the business, a good geographical knowledge will be essential. The individual must have a proactive and investigative personality and it is imperative to be able to prioritize and meet response times and targets.
