1.Manager (NVOCC), Marketing & Business
Development

Job Purpose: 
 Responsible marketing activities and business development strategies.

Accountabilities: 
 Lead the group with export management leadership, supporting JP Logistics Sdn Bhd business goals
and strategy and achieving key performance metrics. Directly responsible for managing the routing
of all export freight and carrier rate/cost management. 
 Proactively manage, design and develop solutions for transportation capacity, ensuring the
integration of technology, people and process. 
 To drive the development and attainment of short and long range goals and objectives. To review
the activities, operation cost and forecasting the data to determine progress towards stated
objectives.  
 Identify and create a new level of information connectivity between suppliers, distribution and
logistics and also to create customer value through technology- driven transportation services. 
 Formulate, manage, coordinate, and oversee projects across transportation for which responsibility
is delegated in a manner that optimizes and meets customer needs, quality standards and cost
objectives. 

Requirements: 
 Diploma and above with minimum of five (5) years working experience in related field
 Knowledgeable in NVOCC rules and regulations
 Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment
 Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and comfortable presentation and speaking skills
 Ability to persuade and influence others, collaborative, accountable for results, impeccable record of

2.Mechanic 
Company  :  JP Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Reporting  :  Supervisor, Technical
Department  :  Technical

Job Purpose: 
 Support all related technical and maintenance job on JP Logistics Sdn Bhd equipments as well as t6o
ensure it reliability and availability. 

Accountabilities: 
 To receive and carry out instructions by Senior Mechanic immediately, accurately and positively.
 Write down daily activities report in the 'Job Orderv Form'.
 Plan and organize a daily activity by given the priority to the instructions received from Senior 
Mechanic.
 To perform maintaining and repairing job by following a standard working procedure and tome 
allocated.
 To troubleshoot any problem occurs to all equipments before performing a repairing job.
 To perform a functional test on each equipment before send it over to operation department. 

Requirements: 
 SPM or Certificate in Automotive
 Minimum of one (1) year working experience in related field
 Able to work independently 
 Team worker with positive attitude

3.Operation Assistant (LME) 
Company  :  JP Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Reporting  :  Supervisor, Warehouse & Distributions (LME)
Department  :  Warehouse & Distributions

Job Purpose: 
 Assisting and monitoring the whole operation of LME warehouse.

Accountabilities: 
 To monitor and check receive and movement of cargo from warehouse, container or conventional
vessel and to ensure the quantity of received items are sufficient and in a good condition. 
 To monitor the movement of contractors and to ensure that all contractors are following the rules
order. 
 To conduct and update the stocks in the system and to coordinate the bay plan, stock card and
cargo location efficiently. 
 To assist on other administrative works.

Requirements: 
 SPM 
 Able to work longer hours and can work under pressure
 Able to work independently 
 Computer literate
 Team worker with positive attitude 

4.Operation Assistant (Non-LME)

Reporting  :  Supervisor, Warehouse & Distributions (Non-LME)
Department  :  Warehouse & Distributions

Job Purpose: 
 Monitoring the inventory planning, container movement, all weekly/monthly report and focal point
of customer liaison. 

Accountabilities: 
 To coordinate and plan all inbound/import and outbound/export movement operation based on JP
Logistics Sdn Bhd Standard Operation and customers requirement. 
 To coordinate and relay information on warehouse plan/activity to staff and contractor without fail.
 To ensure the operation/activity comply with customer requirement and contractor work based on 
instruction given with right procedure and has the expertise to handle/operate the cargo.
 To coordinate and do proper planning for housekeeping and arrangement of material in the 
warehouse, and to ensure store product arrangements are neat, tidy, safety of surrounding area.
 To update customer on cargo inventory, warehouse bay plan, maintain record accurately for 
reporting and to conduct the stock-counts as required on daily basis.
 To assist on other administrative works. 

Requirements: 
 SPM

5.Prime Mover Driver 
Company  :  JP Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Reporting  :  Operation Supervisor
Department  :  Land Transport

Job Purpose: 
 To handle the company's prime mover and to complete all jobs assignment as been required.

Accountabilities: 
 To ensure that all orders need to be delivered to customer within the timeframe given and on time.
 To ensure that the authorized prime mover in good condition.
 To ensure that license, road tax and PUSPAKOM inspection are valid. 

Requirements: 
 Minimum qualification: PMR
 Posses E-Full license and able to handle prime mover
 Able to work longer hours
 Physical fit and good health
 Able to work independently 
 Team worker with positive attitude 

6.Project Manager

Department  :  Marketing & Business Development

Job Purpose: 
 Responsible for the project management performance in project logistics.

Accountabilities: 
 Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new
solutions. 
 Engages the appropriate stakeholders to quickly and thoroughly define the project scope and
applies firm but flexible change control to balance scope creep and necessary change. 
 Responsible for identifying initiative scope, costs, objectives and project plans for efforts in driven
by or needed by the Business Transformation Program. 
 Leads project contributors, analysts, and/or technical leads to define the requirements with
sufficient detail and clarity so the resulting solution matches not only the written specification but
also the real business need. 
 Maintaining the composure, enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances. 

Requirements: 
 Diploma and above with minimum of five (5) years working experience in related field
 Competency in project and program management, budgeting, scheduling, and task estimation
 Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment
 Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and comfortable presentation and speaking skills
 Effective and sound decision making skills, influencing, and leadership

7.Safety Assistant 
Company  :  JP Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Reporting  :  Safety & Health Officer
Department  :  Safety, Health & Environment

Job Purpose: 
 Responsible for documentations work related to OHSAS 18001 and assisting the Safety Officer on
Safety, Health & Environment matters in JP Logistics. Sdn Bhd. 

Accountabilities: 
 Assist Safety & Health Officer to investigate on any accident, near miss, dangerous occurrence,
occupational poisoning or occupational disease that happened inside working premises/area for
submission to DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety & Health) state and other relevant
department involved as per required by NADOOPOD (Notification of Accident, Dangerous
Occurrence, Occupational Poisoning and Occupational Disease) Regulations 2004 and to recommend
the control measures from re-occurrence. 
 Assist Safety & Health Officer to ensure all JPL’s staff, contractors, agents and port service providers
is aware with Safety, Health & Environment requirements. 
 To prepare all relevant documents prior to the accident investigation conducted.
  To collect and update monthly accident statistic of JPL and to submit data to Safety & Health Officer 
on monthly basis.
 Updating safety briefing / induction database and induction payment record on monthly basis.
 Assist safety & health Officer to conduct join inspection with DOSH and to verify testing for JPL’s 
machineries in order to renew the certificate of fitness based on FMA 1967 requirements.
 Conducting Safety & Security join inspection on trucks, prime mover workplace area. 

Requirements: 
 Certificate in Safety & Health endorsed by NIOSH Malaysia
 Minimum of one (1) year working experience in related field
 Computer literate 
 Possess own transport and willing to travel 
 Good command of written and spoken in Bahasa Melayu and English
 Good interpersonal & analytical skill
 Able to work independently & maintain confidentiality
 Team worker with positive attitude

8.Forwarding Assistant  
Company  :  JP Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
Reporting  :  Supervisor, Forwarding
Department  :  Freight Forwarding

Job Purpose: 
 Responsible to handle the customs clearance and any related documentation on forwarding
activities. 

Accountabilities: 
 Planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account of the perishable or hazardous
nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security. 
 Arranging appropriate packing, taking account of climate, terrain, weight, nature of goods and cost,
and the delivery and warehousing of goods at their final destination. 
 Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
 Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, 
packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regime.
 Arranging payment of freight and other charges or collection of payment on behalf of the client.
 Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to 
deadline.
 Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey.
Requirements: 
 SPM 
 Minimum of one (1)year working experience in forwarding
 Able to work extra hours and can work under pressure
 Able to work independently 
 Computer literate
 Team worker with positive attitude
