Well Equipment Inventory Management Field Technician

Description
Shall provide auditing services for evaluating suppliers and providers when requested by QA/QC Team Lead. The Field Technician’s expertise should include manufacturing, inspection, assembly, testing, QA/QC control, and auditing processes. Responsibilities of the QA/QC Field Inspector are as follows:
  • Inventory Chevron owned and/or consigned equipment at Business Partner and Chevron facilities;
  • Identify location of equipment (SCM Warehouse, SCM Stock, Business Partner, Rig, In Transit) and conduct by serial number inventory;
  • Determine service condition of equipment (“fit for purpose” vs. “in need of repair” vs. “scrap”) and recommend disposition to Team Lead;
  • Report pertinent results to the Team Lead in a timely fashion, especially regarding issues that could impact the performance or delivery of equipment;
  • Maintain inventory spreadsheet by Business Partner and Chevron facility name and provides weekly update to Team Lead;
  • Track and report the required metrics and summaries.
Skills / Experience Required

  • Personnel shall be able to read and write English and possess above average computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting skills, basic math skills and be able to file internet-based internal reports.
  • Possess a government-issued passport and a valid driver’s license recognized by the Kingdom of Thailand’s Department of Land Transportation.
  • Should possess NDT Level II certifications in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent (ASNT CP-189, NAS 410, etc.) in the method(s) for which work is being performed (e.g. UT, MT, PT, VT).
  • Should have a working knowledge of and general experience involving inspection of Rotary Shouldered Connections with API threads to include machine shop repair, re-manufacture and gauging of the connection.  A working knowledge of the associated API specifications is mandatory.

Drilling and Completion Equipment QA/QC Field Technician

Description
Shall provide auditing services for evaluating suppliers and providers when requested by QA/QC Team Lead. The Field Technician’s expertise should include manufacturing, inspection, assembly, testing, QA/QC control, and auditing processes. Responsibilities of the QA/QC Field Inspector are as follows:
  • Review Quality Plans (QPs), Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Oversight of QA/QC processes for all purchased, operated and rented equipment;
  • Site receiving of D&C Equipment as directed;
  • Report pertinent results to the D&C team in a timely fashion, especially regarding issues that could impact the performance or delivery of the equipment;
  • Maintain tool lists of qualified components per contract, including descriptions and serial numbers;
  • Facilitate the resolution of non-compliance reports (NCR) generated by the provider or by the customer;
  • Participate in Equipment Failure Analysis and Root Cause Analysis investigations if necessary;
  • Generate reports as required by the QA/QC Contract Manager and/or QA/QC Team Lead;
  • Track and report the required metrics and summaries.
