Job Description:

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Supervisors to join CANs’ existing teams at our onshore site in Pembroke, South Wales.  No inspection qualifications required however, Fabric Maintenance and/or Rigging experience would be desirable but not essential.
Preferred Skills:

Personnel should hold the following qualifications as a minimum:
  • IRATA Rope Access Level 3
  • Recognised HSE Approved First Aid Certification
  • Site Safety Passport or MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) Certificate
Candidates local to the area will be strongly considered for the above post.
As well as holding the above qualifications, the successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience with supervisory skills.
  • Ability to coordinate a multi-disciplined team to ensure efficient completion of work scopes.

Job Description:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Tender & ProposalsCoordinator to join a busy commercial team.
The role is to maintain a high standard of bid administration ensuring that all contributions are received on time in accordance with the submission plan and coordinate bid completion to produce distinctive, winning bids. Reporting to the Tender & Proposals Manager you will be responsible for the coordination and provision of administrative support for the management and execution of the proposals and tender submissions process.
Duties include:
  • Responsibility for coordinating bid completion to produce distinctive, winning bids
  • Responsibility for liaising with clients and colleagues to gain further information for bid completion and submission.
  • Participate in prioritisation of and producing plans for the efficient and successful compilation of bid documents to strict deadlines
  • Manage/coordinate bid responses using robust project management techniques
  • Responsibility for production and editing of bid response documents, ensuring each document contains required information
  • Participate in evaluating each bid question fully in order to completely understand response requirements
  • Undertake research projects and aid in development of business development plans in respect of opportunities and projects requested by Tender & Proposals Manager/ Group Commercial Director

The successful candidate will have a background in tendering, be able to deal with complex information, keep calm under pressure, be able to work to a process, and have strong relationship management skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has come from a Bid Coordinator, Sales Coordinator, Proposal Coordinator role who has the ability to deal with complex tenders and has precise attention to detail.

  • Oil and gas industry experience (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both written and verbally (essential)
  • Ability to build and develop effective working relationships (essential)
  • Experience and knowledge of reviewing and responding to multi- sector bid/ tender requests
  • Excellent IT skills with ability to master bespoke packages (essential)
  • Highly motivated, able to work on their own initiative and confident in making decisions (essential)
  • Strong organisational and administration skills and methodical attention to detail (essential)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure (essential)

Candidates should possess the following qualifications/experience:
  • Degree (2.2 minimum) in relevant subject - desirable

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.
Due to an increase in project manning levels we are seeking to recruit experienced IRATA Rope Access Level 3/NDT Inspectors who hold PCN Level 2 NDT qualifications to compliment CAN’s existing teams to support our ongoing projects.
Successful candidates will be offered excellent remuneration packages combined with opportunities for further long term career development within the CAN organisation.
Preferred Skills:

  •   IRATA Rope Access Level 3
  •   PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic Technicians (Plate & Pipe as a minimum)
  •   PCN Level 2 MPI & DPI
  •   Approved First Aid Certification

As well as holding valid Offshore Survival, MIST and OGUK Medical certification, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
  •  Minimum of 2-years in-service inspection experience with supervisory skills.
  •  Ability to coordinate a multi-disciplined team to ensure efficient completion of inspection workscopes.
  •  Ensure CAN and Client specific work-packs & procedures are strictly adhered to.
  •  Ability to read and follow P&ID's and Isometric drawings.
