Coral Alliance Sdn Bhd (Coral Alliance) is a Malaysian Bumiputra Company incorporated in March 2005. Coral is licensed with the National Oil Company, Petronas to provide integrated Brownfield services for the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. Coral has established strategic office and service facilities in Kuala Lumpur and Kemaman in West Malaysia and Miri, Labuan, Bintulu and Kota Kinabalu in East Malaysia.

We invite suitable candidates to work in our Project office in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

(a) Job Description
Directly responsible to the Project Manager for ensuring that PETRONAS Carigali approved QA/QC programme is implemented continuously. This shall include fabrication and testing procedures, materials and consumable for use and required trade skills.

(b) Qualification
  • Minimum a Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical/Structural background.
  • At least five (5) years working experience in oil and gas industries, three (3) of which must be as QA/QC Engineer in the areas of Fabrication/Construction maintenance offshore.
  • Must be conversant with all welding codes, procedures and examination applicable to the relevant PETRONAS Carigali Standards. In addition, must be familiar with International Codes of practices.
  • Have at least minimum CSWIP 3.2 Senior Welding Inspector and addition PCN Level II in radiographic interpretation.
  • Passed in IRCA Registered Course as Lead Assessor for Quality Management.
  • System accordance with ISO 9001;2008.



We invite suitable candidates in our Project office in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
  • A minimum of degree level from a recognised tertiary institution (Mechanical, Civil or Structural).
  • At least 8 years experience in multi-disciplinary construction with at least 3 years in the offshore construction industry as a planning engineer
  • Experience in planning methods essential, including critical path programmes.
  • Sufficient proficiency required with microcomputer systems on project planning and scheduling applications.
  • Knowledge of computerised project planning/scheduling/management programmes (i.e Artemis) would be an advantage.
  • Experience in planning methods, CPN and construction/maintenance manhour estimations.
  • Must be well versed in use of planning tools such as Artemis or Microsoft Project or equivalent.
  • Logic network showing activities by jobcards,highlighting the critical path and constraints.
  • Construction barchart showing all work package/jobcard activities on a time scale.
  • Project manpower histograms by trades, S-Curved base on optimised project resources level.
  • Benchmark actual manhours utilization versus norms from established estimation manual.
  • Cost estimation based on different resources scenarios for COMPANY assesstment



We invite suitable candidates to work in our Project office in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
  • At least 8 years experience in multi-disciplinary construction work with at least 3 years in the offshore construction/maintenance industry
  • B.E. in any discipline. preferably in Mechanical or Civil from a recognised tertiary institution and must be registered with BEM.
  • Experience in planning methods, CPN and construction/maintenance manhour estimations.
  • Working knowledge of offshore oil and gas production processes.
  • Preferably conversant with marine aspects of vessels especially relating to vessel movements.
  • Preferably conversant with PETRONAS Carigali's Technical Specifications & Standards.
  • He shall maintain a project log, review all input from the procurement officer to ensure complete materials availability for the project.
  • He shall be rolled over to offshore to provide engineering supports during offshore execution.
  • He shall check and verify the overall status of project materials

  • At least a degree holder in Engineering with 10 to 15 years of working experience in engineering and construction of oil and gas facilities and have held the Project Manager position in the projects.
  • He must have adequate experience in project management.
  • He should have the ability to manage interfaces between various project phases including design, construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • He should also have the ability to organize and direct construction management activities so as to meet the schedule, quality and safety requirements of the projects
