Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate the development or enhancement of new and existing products as per MS ISO 9001:2008 requirement based on QP-ARB-PP-01, QP-ARB-PP-02 & QP-ARB-PP-03, especially in the preparation and execution of the following :
    • Market research & product requirement.
      • Identification of research requirement for a certain project
      • Preparation of research methodology
      • Obtaining information from relevant parties both internally and externally
      • Preparation and execution of research initiatives
      • Execution and writing of research report and analysis
    • Product (and / or service) specification
      • Development of product specification and outlook
      • Enhancement of current products specification and outlook
      • Development and Enhancement of Standard Operating Procedure in the form of Quality Procedure, Company Directive, Official Memo, Circular or any other related documentation for the product
      • Development and Enhancement of Legal Documentation in the form of Service Level Agreement, Trust Deeds, Memorandum of Understanding and other related legal documentation for the product
      • Development and Enhancement of Forms via the usage of Graphic computer application and related computer applications for the product such as Application Form, Coupons, Receipts, Logs and other related forms for the product.
      • Development and Enhancement of Brochure / Flyers / Buntings / Banners via the usage of Graphic computer application and related computer applications for the product such as promotional and awareness brochures / flyers / bunting / banners for the advertising and promotion of the product.
      • To indentify, suggest mitigation strategies and perform the execution for any risks involved in the development, enhancement and research initiatives
      • In charge of monitoring the execution, preparation, of the above items with the collaboration of other departments.
    • Budget
      • Development of projected budget for the department as whole and for product (and / or service) development, enhancement and research initiates in specific
      • Development of Cost Benefit Analysis for the development or enhancement of a product (and / or service) or research initiative
      • In charge of monitoring the execution, preparation, of the above items with the collaboration of other departments.
    • Marketing & Sales Plan
      • Development of marketing and sales plan for the product (and / or service) that is being developed or enhanced
      • In charge of monitoring the execution of the plan with the collaboration of other departments
    • Product Launching Plan (inclusive of product launching strategy and preparation of production items)
      • Development of product launching plan for the product (and / or service) that is being developed or enhanced
      • In charge of monitoring the execution of the plan with the collaboration of other departments
    • System Development
      • Development of system development analysis and report for the product (and / or service) that is being developed or enhanced
      • In charge of monitoring the execution of the plan with the collaboration of other departments
    • Legal Documentations
      • Development and Enhancement of Legal Documentation in the form of Service Level Agreement, Trust Deeds, Memorandum of Understanding and other related legal documentation for the product
    • Related Forms (Application, Withdrawal, Instruction and others)
      • Development and Enhancement of Forms after product specification draft has been prepared above via the usage of Graphic computer application and related computer applications for the product such as Application Form, Coupons, Receipts, Logs and other related forms for the product.
    • Sales Material (Marketing Kit, Brochure and others)
      • Development and Enhancement of Brochure/ Flyers/Buntings/Banners after product specification draft has been prepared above via the usage of Graphic computer application and related computer applications for the product such as promotional and awareness brochures/flyers, bunting/banners for the advertising and promotion of the product.
    • Product Training Schedule and Module
      • Development of product training schedule and module for the product (and / or service) that is being developed or enhanced
      • In charge of monitoring the execution of the plan with the collaboration of other departments
  • Maintaining and improve existing policy and procedures related to R&DD activities on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct follow up on activities within 6 months after new product launch or before hand over to product / process owner subject to management discretion
  • Act as liaison person between Management and respective product process owners to ensure smooth implementation and administration of new product as well as related procedures and processes subject to management discretion.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving existing policy and procedures related to R&DD activities
Qualification / Requirements
  • Degree in Finance Economics/Marketing/ Business Administration / Management or equivalent
  • 2 – 3 years relevant working experiences
  • Possess experience preparation and execution of product development and enhancement
  • Capable of performing product and service development and enhancement and research activities with minor supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for both written and verbal communications with a flair for writing.
  • Computer literate – with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Ms Word, Excel PowerPoint, Visio, SPSS, Graphic applications and related research analysis tools
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Excellent report writing & presentation skills
MANAGER
(IT Security & Network)
GROUP INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT
CLOSING DATE : 30 OCTOBER 2013
Responsibilities
  • To provide team leadership, supervision and mentoring to ensure successful outcomes of security information program activities.
  • To coordinate the development of ARB Group information security policies, standards and procedures based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements.
  • To develop and implement Incident Reporting and Response System to address any security incidents (breaches), respond to alleged policy violations, or complaints from external parties.
  • To coordinate response to information security incidents.
  • To develop and implement an ongoing risk assessment program targeting information security and privacy matters, recommending methods for vulnerability detection and remediation, and oversee vulnerability testing.
  • To keep abreast of latest security issues and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerability
  • To perform research, develop, implement, test and review an organization's information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
  • To assess the impacts on system modifications and technological advances.
  • To regularly review system state in order to identify potential security weaknesses, recommend improvements to amend vulnerabilities, implement changes and document upgrades.
  • To optimizing the existing network & security infrastructure and well planned on the new projection requirement either for upgrade or improvement.
  • Liaise with vendors on matters related to network & security hardware/software (procurement, support & maintenance) for which vendor involvement is necessary.
  • Provide awareness program to customer as and when required
  • To ensure related network & security infrastructure including software and services (internet, email, network accessibility, etc) operation are at utmost availability with minimum downtime during operational hours.
  • To ensure all servers to be security hardened (base on standard established) before going live in production environment.
  • To ensure security assessment & penetration test to be carried out accordingly, with necessary actions to be taken as a result from the exercise outcome
  • To ensure all network & security infrastructure health check & preventive maintenance to be carried out completely and as per schedule
  • To evaluate and/or propose acquisition of related network & security, including software as when required.
  • To ensure related network & security infrastructure annual subscription, maintenance & support agreement being renewed accordingly before expiry without any failure.
  • To produce timely capacity planning report, trend analysis report, outage incident report (if any) and utilization report of network & security infrastructure on monthly basis or as per required.
  • To produce timely regular status updates to Senior Manager/Head, Group Information Technology Department or as per required.
Qualification / Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in any field, preferably in IT or Information Management.
  • 5 - 7 years direct work experience in information security, information technology or related field.
  • Knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality, and desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis.
  • Experience should include security policy development, security education, network penetration testing, application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing.
  • Experience in developing and administering an information security program.
  • Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills.
  • Experience with Internet technology and security issues.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Seeks and applies knowledge, information and best practices from within and outside organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the management of the department by providing executive support in ensuring the smooth running of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Provide oversight of the risk register process by collecting the registers each quarter, providing an overview to management and escalating risks in line with escalation criteria.
  • Provide oversight of risks including the analysis of risk event root causes, monitoring the satisfactory delivery of proposed remedial actions and preparation of appropriate reports.
  • Assists in facilitation of control self-assessments and business continuity management, ensuring that risk owners can identify their critical processes and are able to validate their effectiveness.
