SUHAKAM


The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) was established under Act 597 which is the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999.  SUHAKAM has the mandate and responsibility as the National Human Rights Institution, to promote awareness and protection of human rights. Malaysia Citizens who are innovative, dedicated and qualified are invited to fill the following positions:
 
1. Post
:
HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT (GRADE 48)
Salary Scale 
:
Minimun RM5,002.92 – Maximum RM6,912.90 an additional allowance of RM1,550.00 per month.

Qualification
:
1-Bachelor's degree with Honours or Master in Business Administration / Human Resources / Finance, from local or oversea university, or any qualification recognized by the Commission;
  2-Have at least 10 years of experience in Management (including Human Resource dan IT), Administration and Finance;
 
:
3-Possess the skills or knowledge in the areas of Management, Administration and Finance and also budget preparation processes in accordance with the government's or other organizations financial policies and procedures;
  4-Possess the skills or knowledge in handling Human Resource Development and Training;
  5-Possess the skills and knowledge in managing application and infrastructure systems of Information Technology (IT);
  6-Possess the ability and expertise in leading, guiding and advising professionally on matters related tasks with minimal supervision; and
  7-Fluent and good writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
2. Post
:
RESEARCH OFFICER (GRADE 41)
Salary Scale 
:
Minimun RM2,252.80 – Maximum RM5,556.62 an additional allowance of RM850.00 per month.
Status of Post
:
Contract (1 Year Only)
Qualification
:
1-Honour Degree in Law, International Public Relation or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Commission with at least 3.50 CGPA and above;
  2-Credit in Bahasa Malaysia in SPM (including Oral Test) or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Commission;
 
:
3-Possess knowledge and understanding of human rights and social justice issues in Malaysia;
  4-Must be able to undertake research tasks and provide high quality evidence based analysis and recommendations;
  5-Ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities and to meet deadlines;
  6-Excellent written and oral communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English; and
  7-Ability to work effectively in a small team and respond flexibly to changing work demands.

CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER (GRADE 17)
Salary Scale 
:
Minimun RM927.03 – Maximum RM2,526.03 an additional allowance of RM595.00 per month.

Qualification
:
1-Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Commission;
  2-Credit   in  Bahasa Malaysia  in   SPM (including Oral Test) or any    other    equivalent    qualification    recognized   by   the Commission;
 
:
3-Ability to handle customer inquries and complaints;
  4-Possess knowledge and confidence in giving an information to customer/public;
  5-Ability to work with minimal supervision, to set priorities and to meet deadlines; and
  6-Ability to work effectively in a small team and respond flexibly to changing work demands.
  
(Good command in English and knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Office will be an advantage).
