Rabutec Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 21 March 1987, to service the oil & gas industries. Our main objective is to evolve as an integrated Maintenance and Engineering company with capabilities for Special Products and Manufacture. We plan to develop this by developing critical elements in both Topside Services and Subsurface Services.

Crane Services & Operations Support Engineer 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities :
  • Able to produce technical reports, engineering proposals, review and recommendations.
  • Able to evaluate and offer technical solutions to field and technical/operations staff
  • Support in supervision and management of projects where needed
  • Review operation procedures, manuals and update if necessary.
  • Monitor and assess technical performance of equipment and personnel.
  • To support the Management in ensuring smooth efficient operation of the various projects of the Company.
  • Assist the in planning of projects and other related tasks.
  • Developing the best methods for project activities, and determining the optimal sequence of operations on the project.
Requirements :
  • Candidates must possess a Degree in Engineering, Technical or Operations Management.
  • 2 - 5 years of similar experience in the oil & gas industry will be an added advantage
  • Problem solving skills are highly valued in this profession.
  • Experience working in offshore crane, hoist & lifting equipment related companies will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to review design and perform structural calculations will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of engineering software like AUTOCAD, NASTRAN, hydraulic programs would be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively.
  • Knowledge in HSE (Health, Safety and Environment).
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.




Procurement / Operation Support Executive (Senior Executive)
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To supervise and facilitate all facets of supply chain and supply chain management activities.
  • Responsible for implementing sourcing strategies to support corporate and divisional objectives, and providing competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies and services. This will include the need to locate, analyze and develop a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future commodities needs.
  • Creating and maintaining mutually beneficial long-term partnership with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvements is also one of your focuses.
  • Must be able to estimate labour, equipment and material demands of the project fairly accurately.
  • Critical thinking in a systematic fashion, with appropriate responses to both predicted and unexpected problems.
  • To support technical and operation team in procuring specified items.
  • Supervise sourcing of competitive prices and identifying parts and equipment needed by Workshop / Project teams
  • Supervise preparation of purchase orders.
  • Determine and ensure inventories are sufficient to needs, ordering materials when necessary.
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
Requirements :
  • Candidates must possess a Degree/Diploma in Business, Engineering, Materials Management or other equivalent certificates with a minimum 3 - 5 years experience in operation and support activities.
  • Experience working in crane & lifting equipment related companies will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication in English
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office


Business Development / Sales Executive (Senior Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities :
  • To oversee sales & marketing of companys products & services to the oil & gas industries.
  • To assist Business Development (BD) Manager with all sales / Business Development aspect of the Company.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations
  • Carry out market research to identify and establish contact with potential Clients.
  • Establish contacts with all relevant industry personnel and organizations to ensure that the new potential market are identified and exploited.
  • Maintain excellent customer support relationship.
  • Must be able to draw up business plans, set targets and objectives and motivate the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements :
  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma, preferably Degree in Engineering or Science fields.
  • 2 years of similar experience (sales/marketing) in the oil and gas industries will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Self starter and motivated.
  • Must be target driven, organized, adaptable and be willing to work extra hours, when needed.
