An NGO that operates 24 dialysis centre’s that provide dialysis treatments to patients nationwide, with is now seeking committed and service-oriented personnel to fill the following.

1. HEAD OF MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (BASED AT HQ)
Responsibilities:-
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the medical department
  • Oversee the Welfare Unit
  • Oversee the Risk Management Unit
  • Provide advice to the dialysis centre staff on patient management
  • Review Hemodialysis patients’ progress regularly and liaise with Affiliated nephrologists where relevant
  • Oversee clinical research activities conducted by NKF
  • To conduct lectures at NKF’s Training Centre
Requirements:-
  • Degree in Medicine from recognized university
  • Post Basic degree in Medicine
  • 5 years experience in Clinical Nephrology or Internal Medicine practice, including management of patients with end-stage renal disease
  • Good command of spoken and written English language and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills with pleasant personality
  • Good planning and organizing skills and able to work independently

2. WELFARE OFFICER (BASED AT HQ)
Responsibilities:-
  • To plan and perform the social and financial assessment of new patients entering the NKF Haemodialysis Programme, make home visits to confirm suitability of patients entering the Haemodialysis Programme
  • To provide counselling for patients facing financial, social and family problems
  • To be involved in all welfare related activities in connection with financial assistance from the various welfare schemes
  • To perform periodic or yearly review of social and financial status of existing patients in all dialysis centres
Requirements:-
  • Degree or Diploma in Counseling/Social Science or equivalent
  • 10 or more years experience as Welfare Officer/Counselor/Social Worker
  • Experience in welfare, counseling and social work
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health-care industry an advantage
  • Must be able to work independently and have a caring attitude
  • Passion to assist those in need
  • Possess own car and willing to travel
  • Age above 45 years old

3. REGISTERED STAFF NURSE/MEDICAL ASSISTANT (BASED AT CENTRE:- Taiping, Kangar, Penang & Kuantan)
Responsibilities:-
  • To provide high standard of nursing care to all renal patients
Requirements:-
  • SRN Certificate/MA board
  • 5 years nursing experience
  • Must be prepared to work on shift
  • Experience in haemodialysis will be an added advantage

4. ADMIN ASSISTANT (BASED AT CENTRE:-Cheras, Kepong & Kangar)
Responsibilities:-
  • Responsible in ensuring incoming calls are answered courteously and promptly
  • Responsible for general office administration
  • Ensure all documentations are properly filed
  • To liaise with other departments on operations documentations
Requirements:-
  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma or certificate
  • At least 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent


5. 
PUBLIC EDUCATION EXECUTIVE (BASED AT HQ)
Responsibilities:
  • Degree in nursing or health science, with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Good command of at least two languages in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin
  • Good planning, organizing and presentation skills and able to work independently
  • Computer literate
  • Own transport and must be prepared to travel
Requirements:
  • To promote health screening and health talk services to private organizations, teaching organizations and NGOs
  • To coordinate and organize public education activities such as health exhibitions, health screenings and health talks
  • To plan, develop, implement and monitor public education outreach program and activities
  • To design, prepare and produce educational pamphlets, posters and other publication materials
  • To provide health related counseling to members of the public

6. IT EXECUTIVE (BASED AT HQ)
Responsibilities:
  • To provide first level support to all NKF centre’s
  • To support the PCs, servers, network printers and network (LAN WAN)
  • To troubleshoot software and hardware issue and assist in maintenance of website
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows, Office, SQL-Server, PHP and MYSQL
  • Must have own transport
  • Full-Time positions available

7. DIALYSIS ASSISTANT (BASED AT CENTRE:- PJ & Kg. Pandan, KL)
Responsibilities:
  • To ensure that the Dialysis Centre premises and surrounding such as staircase, window, floor, pantry, R.O room, re-use bay, toilets, furniture, trolleys and etc are clean
  • Prime bloodlines and dialysers prior to haemodialysis treatment
  • To reprocess all dialysers after the end of treatment
  • Cleaning of dialysis machines, chairs, and table each time after termination of dialysis
  • To assist in the stocking of goods in the store room
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM
  • Good team player
  • Passion for patient care
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of people

8. NORTHERN BRANCH EXECUTIVE (BASED AT PENANG)
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement public education programmes and activities on prevention of kidney diseases in the Northern region in collaboration with the Public Education Department
  • Plan and implement “NKF LifeCheck” Health Screening Programmes in the Northern region in collaboration with the Public Education Department
  • Collaborate with Fund Raising Department to plan and secure donations, sponsorships and other fund raising projects in the Northern region
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager (SPM) in the development of new dialysis centres and relocation of existing centres in the Northern region
  • Assist the Welfare Unit in expediting the process of applications from potential patients
  • Responsible for the overall financial management of NKF’s Northern branch
  • Assist in the promotion, clinical posting as well as organization and coordination of NKF’s in-house training courses in the Northern region
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Senior Executives
  • Good team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with all levels of people
  • Good organising and writing skills
  • Diplomatic & discreet
  • Resourceful, creative & able to work independently with minimum supervision
