Responsibilities
  • The Global Management Trainee Programme is a structured 2-year programme designed to develop some of the world's most talented graduates to a global standard of excellence who can build our future. It consists of:
  • Challenging Assignments supported by a Coach and Mentor – throughout the 2 years, the Management Trainee will be given on-the-job development through stretched assignments in his/her chosen function supported by a coach, a mentor, and periodic formal training.
  • Cross-Functional and Overseas Assignments – to enhance business acumen and international exposure, the programme allows the Management Trainee to spend a few months working outside of his/ her own function, and another few months working in another country where their adaptability and agility are tested.
  • As a British American Tobacco Management Trainee, you will be given every opportunity to explore your potential, make business critical decisions and accept the accountability that comes with early responsibility. Requirements
  • A recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical, Chemical, Electrical/Electronic, Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent).
  • CGPA of 3.0 or a First Class Honours (Australian Equivalent is High Distinction average).
  • Good command of written and spoken English, interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to work with facts and figures.
  • Have experience in leadership positions in at least 4 co curricular activities(High School and University)
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
  • Age 25 years and below.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfortable working in the tobacco industry.
  • Required language(s): English
