Sustainable Energy Development Authority of Malaysia (SEDA Malaysia) is a statutory body formed under the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Act 2011. The key role of SEDA Malaysia is to administer and manage the implementation of the feed-in tariff mechanism which is mandated under the Renewable Energy Act 2011.

E001 : Deputy Director – Enforcement

• Degree in law or legal with engineering background;
• At least 6 years of working experience in related field and has knowledge of policy, law, the Malaysia Electricity Supply Industry and renewable energy;
• Knowledgeable in legal action and prosecution as well as extensive knowledge in the legal and technical aspects;
• Experience in drafting normative documents, power agreements and energy related regulatory documents and knowledge of the best solutions available in the region would be highly advantageous;
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, management and presentation skills.

E002 : System Developer

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies or Information Technology;
• At least 6 years of hands-on working experience in system design and applications development;
• Experience in system design, development, coding and maintenance of Internet/Web 2.0 based applications;
• Familiar with full System Development Life Cycle
• Hand-on experience in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML/CSS, XML and Web security;
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming, Agile Methodology, Data mining and mathematical analysis will be advantageous.

E003 : Assistant Director – Renewable Energy (RE) Fund

• Degree in Economy or Finance;
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field. Knowledge in RE is an added advantage;
• Proficient in conducting complex economic analysis and have relevant experience in RE project financing; familiar with analysis including WACC, IRR, ROI, LCOE and other financial terminology. Understanding of grid parity and basic electricity generation terminologies highly advantages;
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, management and presentation skills.

S001 : Analyst Programmer

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Studies or Information Technology;
• At least 2 years of hand-on working experience in system development and coding of applications;
• Experience in system development, coding, programming and maintenance of Internet/Web 2.0 based applications;
• Working experience in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML/CSS, XML and Web security;
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming, Agile Methodology and mathematical analysis will be advantageous.

S002 : Training Coordinator

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Master degree with specialization in RE or Professional Certification in Training and Development will be an advantage;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years of which should have been in training and development;
• Knowledge and background in RE is an added advantages;
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, management and presentation skills.
