Management Accountant 

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The Management Accountant is responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts enabling the company management team to make sound commercial decisions based on financial information. 
    Scope
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Produce the budget and quarterly forecasts for approval by the Chief Financial Officer
  • Provide variances analysis from budget, identify added-value reporting opportunities for trend analysis and commentary to assist forecasting and budgeting requirements
  • Preparing and reviewing P&L and balance sheet reports
  • Responsible for dealing with Treasury management and day to day cash management
  • Assist with the audit preparation work to allow for timely completion of the annual financial statements and
  • Maintaining records and reconciliation controls of approved budgets
  • Year end income and expenditure forecasts
  • Other duties as required
    Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Professional qualification ie: ACCA, CIMA, CPA/MIA membership.
  • Minimum 4 years of related working experience preferably with 2-3 years of audit experience.
  • Good knowledge of current accounting standards.


Internal Audit Manager 

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible to plan and manage the execution of risk based audits processes by examining, evaluating and verifying statistical, operational or financial records and/or procedures to determine the reliability and effectiveness of internal control system. This includes responsibility for the prevention and detection of fraud, malpractice, illegal acts and other audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified. Accountable to ensure that findings, conclusions and recommendations arising from each internal audit assignment are communicated promptly to the appropriate level of management. 
    Scope
  • Plans and develops the internal audits department strategic plans, financial/operational audit objectives, procedures and programs.
  • Undertakes comprehensive planning and risk assessments relating to each assignment to ensure that the engagement identifies potential unmitigated business risks.
  • Performs internal audits and determines that company assets are properly used in the company's business consistent with company policy and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Reviews company procedures to ensure maintenance of records in reasonable detail that accurately and fairly reflect the transactions and assets of the company.
  • Evaluates internal controls to determine proper controls including suggestions for improvements.
  • Assists in interface with external auditors to maximize reliance on internal audit reviews. Discusses and presents audit findings to client groups effectively; responsible for audit completion and issue follow-up.
  • Performs all aspects of audit work for assigned financial and operational audits including report preparation and review, and communication with management regarding audit results.
  • Ensures that recommendations are clearly presented and agreed to by the management and that a subsequent audit report is issued promptly.
  • Assist with special projects in the finance department and other duties as required.

    Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree (MBA) and 7+ years of Internal Audit related experience or BA/BS and minimum 5+ years of related working experience.
  • Obtained and maintained a professional certification (CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.)
  • Data Analysis Tools – basic knowledge with ability to pick up analysis tools quickly
  • Basic Knowledge of Audit Tools

Accounts Assistant 

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting and providing administrative support to team of accountants within a business. This includes clerical tasks such as typing reports, filing, handling phone calls, dealing with mail and low level book keeping. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable sub-ledgers and monthly account reconciliations utilizing industry specific computer software are key components of this position. 
    Scope
  • Responsible for daily and month-end transactions and closing activities to ensure that the transactions are captured in the accounting system on an accurate and timely basis
  • Monitor daily transactions recommend modification and changes if required.
  • Data Entry: (You will be entering information regarding a certain document or inputting numbers into a spreadsheet).
  • Sorting documents: (You will be simply sorting documents for the Senior Accounts Executive you're assisting)
  • Other duties as required

    Qualification
  • Minimum SPM or possess relevant certificates in Accounting fields.
  • 1-2 years relevant working experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer accounting software systems.

Senior Drilling Engineer 

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Acts as the company's technical representative and is accountable for the technical planning and monitoring of the drilling/ testing program. 
    Operation
  • Design drilling programs in accordance with industry recognised technical criteria and applicable drilling regulations to achieve exploration objectives in a safe and cost effective manner.
  • Provide the Drilling Supervisor and Logistics team with equipment lists for the program.
  • Monitor and evaluate well conditions in conjunction with the Drilling Supervisor and Operation Geologist.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans for potential problems that could occur during the program.
  • Initiate other management systems or procedures as required during the program.
  • Develop young engineers within the department
  • Other duties as required

    HSE
  • Act as a member of Emergency Response Group, supporting the Drilling Supervisor in the event of an emergency response situation.
  • Observe all overall company health, safety and environmental instructions, act in a safe manner and avoid unnecessary risks to themselves and others.
  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences or injuries in the work place.

    Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/ Gas)
  • 10 years or more working experience in Oil & Gas drilling engineering
  • Familiar with industry standard Drilling Software
  • Able to apply performance drilling concepts

Senior Geophysicist 

Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Provides geophysical expertise and support for all aspects of the company's development activities. Reviews, interprets and maps seismic data relating to operated, non operated and new venture projects. Provides an independent geophysical evaluation as part of an ongoing technical review to enable a full commercial evaluation of all assets. 
    Operation
  • Will carry out 2D/3D seismic interpretation and attribute analysis for existing fields and new development wells
  • Applies quantitative interpretation techniques, such as seismic reservoir characterization, AVO analysis and seismic inversion, to optimize development and extension of hydrocarbon reservoirs
  • Seismic Facies Analysis
  • Provides geophysical support to drilling operations. Assists in planning and optimizing well trajectories using seismic data and static model representation.
  • Prepares seismic interpretation & information for well prognosis and End of Well reports
  • Provides input to reservoir delineation, resource assessment, geological modelling as well field development and optimization strategy.
  • Applies depth conversion to time interpretations with thorough understanding and application of velocity models as determined from VSP and geological data.
  • Other duties as required

    Skills
  • Excellent understanding of seismic data acquisition and processing methods in offshore settings along with their impact on data interpretation accuracy and validity.
  • Advanced level in workstation skills in 3D seismic interpretation.
  • Skilled in seismic data calibration, reservoir characterization and hydrocarbon detection from seismic.
  • Applied geophysical experience in working with cross-functional teams on reservoir and field development activities associated with stacked oil and gas pays, deltaic and fluvial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting seismic interpretation analysis.

    Qualification
  • Geoscience Degree with a preference for post graduate qualifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience.
