Innovative Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Corro-Shield (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 15th April 1996 under the Malaysia Companies Act 1965. We provide a range of maintainence services to the upstream oil and gas industry, specializing in corrosion preventive solutions, including general piping maintenance services.


In partnership with Petronas Research Sdn Bhd (PRSB), we have jointly developed and patented a range of environmental-friendly products designed to offer effective protection of stud bolts and nuts, flanges from corrosion as well as to remove and prevent marine growth. OPERATIONS MANAGER

REPORTS TO:

General Manager Operations

JOB SUMMARY:

To lead and manage the overall operations of PMO, SKO & SBO and be responsible across the Terengganu, Sarawak & Sabah, in accordance with agreed business plans. To grow profitable sales and maximize income for the company both for existing clients and project/contract for new clients.

TASK:

  • To lead and manage overall operations and manpower planning in Terengganu, Sarawak & Sabah i.e. PMO, SBO, SKO and SAMUR
  • Assist the GM Operations for any overall operations local and abroad 
  • Manage completely operation department activities, project execution in oil and gas projects, hands on mechanical experience, cost estimation and planning capabilities , promote business volume, increasing productivity and efficiency in changing environment
  • Lead Project Managers in operations 
  • Putting plans for organizing staffing to run the operations department in efficient way to cut cost and improve profitability
  • Responsible to ensure that all of the resources are optimally utilized to ensure the products and services rendered are accepted and quality expected by clients
  • Overseeing the Project Management to ensure that all project timelines and project budgets are strictly adhered for all work carried out
  • Establishes operational budgets and ensures that the budgeted goals are achieved and cost objectives are met
  • To be responsible in the management of regional facilities and equipment i.e. offices, yard, staff housing, transportation and manpower
  • To be responsible for an on time submission of Proposals, COR or any other reports
  • To be accountable for project consumable and equipment tracking 
  • To follow up with client on all pending issue pertaining to payment and collection i.e. eRO, SN and Invoice on daily basis
  • To support HQ in all pending works i.e. survey, project execution, RO, SN and etc
  • Initiate strategic planning to secure future potential projects from existing clients
  • Comply with all requirements for Contracts, Service Agreements as stipulated by the clients or by the Company
  • Responsible for the implementation of all Quality Assurance / Quality Control / HSE measures as well as ensuring full compliance with the procedures and systems in force for the time being
  • Provide support to project managers and teams, during the detailed design, construction, and commissioning of projects to ensure the cost effective and successful delivery of projects
  • Recruit, develop, train, motivate and monitor engineering staff to develop the required skill base
  • Ensure that the Quality System is updated as necessary with all the latest standards and code of practice
  • Work with bid teams to develop winning bids by the provision of innovative cost effective solutions and technology selection to meet client needs
  • To report to HQ on the following:-
  • -To prepare and submit report on the overall Terengganu, Sarawak & Sabah 
  • -To deliver monthly project consumable of equipment tracking operations on weekly basis

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in related engineering fields with 5-7 years practical experience related to oil and gas
• Leadership skills with creative vision to achieve goals
• Team player with good communication skills
• Hands on experience on Project Management, Costing, Estimation, Monitoring and Control
• Proficient in preparing Technical and Commercial proposals 
• Capable to lead the team of professionals (should be very good in people management)
• Hand on experience of Mechanical Maintenance / Projects/ Turn Around / Shut Down planning
• Ability to travel a lot and work with different ethnic cultures
• Should be excellent in both spoken and written in English & Bahasa Melayu

TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

REPORTS TO:

General Manager – Business Development

JOB SUMMARY:

Accountable for selling a comprehensive portfolio of company’s products & services, maintaining, developing and expanding the company’s current client base. This key role will create and maximize revenue and profit opportunities through the effective positioning of the value proposition of our engineered solutions

TASK:

• Acquiring and maintaining a full working knowledge of the IOSSB range of product and services, technical basis and deliverable benefits that can be offered to the market
• Overseeing the preparation of technical tender documents, including costs for all territories
• Ensuring all Clients’ technical queries given by BD department are addressed
• Maintaining up-to date Technical sales tool box
• Ensuring Technical enquiries are addressed in accordance with company QA/QC procedures, regardless of the territory
• Providing full technical support to existing and new clients
• Ensuring timely submission of technical proposals
• Liaising as appropriate with all internal functions, including Business Development, Territory, Technical, Tool Management, Finance, contractual, and R&D to ensure adequate technical support to business development department
• Actively engaging in New Product & Services Initiatives
• Supporting colleagues within other territories if and when necessary, contributing to Group activity and occasionally covering for them during periods of absence
• Acting at all times in the best interests of the Company and to be aware and sensitive to opportunities and market developments that could be profitably exploited
• Pursuing new business opportunities locally and abroad
• Contribute knowledge and work as a team to achieve division KPI
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of all current and future regulations and legislation pertaining to the pipeline industry and trend
• Educate customers on the benefits of Pipeline Integrity [when and if required]
• Prepare and giving technical presentations on IOSSB products and services to existing and potential clients

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
• Must have 5-7 years work experience in project management in oil and gas industries
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
